Dr Shaun A. Thompson is the founder of expatdental®. Dr Shaun has been working in Singapore since 2009, driven by a strong service ethos to make dental care a positive and hassle-free experience for everyone. Aided by the latest imaging and 3D printing technology, his practice focuses on cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, and facial aesthetics (i.e. injectable & dermal fillers) among others.

Frequently Asked Questions
The process will depend on what you’re trying to achieve and how many rounds of changes you need. If there are no implants and aligners involved and you’re happy with the design, then you can expect a smile makeover in about 4-6 weeks.
For cases where aligners or implants are required, your treatment can take longer.
We have a complimentary comfort menu to make sure you have what you need during your visit. If for any reason you do feel any pain or discomfort, you can inform our dentist and they will provide options to help make your experience more comfortable.
During the Smile Makeover process, you may have to be more cautious when it comes to what you eat, as well as your hygiene. However, most patients can eat and go about life normally once the process is done. But don’t worry, your dentist will give you all the care instructions and pointers you’ll need to care for your smile.
After consultation with you, we will build a custom treatment plan that fits your schedule and budget. We will present this plan to you at your smile try-in appointment. It is at this stage that you can decide whether or not to go ahead with the treatment plan.
